Coming to South Boston Spring 2012

January 2012 - Meet David Healy, the Manager of the Foodie's South Boston store! David is energetic and comes from a solid grocery background, he's "unofficially" worked in just about every department. He previously worked as manager of Roche Brothers in Easton, MA. He loves the grocery business because of the people and the constantly changing activity.
David lives in Mansfield with his wife Karen, and five children, including two sets of twins! He graduated from Dedham High School, and UMass Boston where he majored in biology. He's passionate about the Bruins and loves all Italian food.
He's working in our South End store now, stop in and say hi!
December 2011 - We made a field trip to the site to test the floor plan.
November 2011- We have started construction!
Saturday, May 8, 2010 - it was announced by Mayor Menino and Senator John Kerry that Foodie's Market in South Boston would be a recipient of President Obama's "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act" small business loans (along with other small businesses in Boston).
We are very proud and honored that the new Foodie's Market location in South Boston was chosen as the place to announce these ARRA awards.
